Saturday Tate trip.
Those of you who said yes, is meeting at the station at about 11 okay?

[info]techiebabe, do you still fancy meeting up for food and/or drinks? I rather fancy a trip to Rough Trade's giant shop after the exhibition, but other than that have no firm plans.

Saturday Tate sounds like a bouncy heroine somewhere about halfway between Nancy Drew and Emma Peel, fwiw.

I'll send you the bill for a new keyboard, this one may never recover from the tea.

I thought Friday Jones sounded like an excellent name for Ms Tate's sidekick, and I don't know why that name popped into my head. A Google search doesn't help, and although most of the link seem to be about slavery in the nineteenth century, "Tales of Bondage," doesn't half look dodgy when you're at work.

Wasn't Friday Jones also a Heinlein character?
See you at 11.

Yes, I'd love to. Haven't seen you in ages! Whenever suits you / anyone who fancies it is good by me, although I'd want to know soonish as we are starting to make plans for the weekend. So far they include watching the Grand Prix and going to a Fuchsia nursery, but anyway. :)

Well Saturday evening, Don't know where, any suggestions?

I am very dull in my suggestions and tend to always suggest Pizza Express. However if this meets your criteria, I can suggest a selection of them for you!

(They keep me happy in that they provide veggie food, with disabled toilets - oh, and I've got a voucher for a free bottle of wine...)

If you'd prefer something pubby... I could have a ponder.

Tate Modern area, or near Rough Trade?

Either area is fine for accessible tubes and catching a taxi so that's fine by me :)

Pizza Express is fine, Rough Trade area is probably better than Tate Modern.

Rightio, how about the one on Bishopsgate then? Not too far for you to walk from Rough Trade (you do mean Rough Trade *East*, yes?)

http://www.pizzaexpress.com/find-a-restaurant/restaurant/2851/

I haven't been there before but they tell me there's disabled access, and a lift down to an accessible toilet too.

And Liverpool Street is easy enough for me to get to - a taxi and a train. In fact it's so easy that I can probably manage on sticks and not need my chair, but that also depends on what kind of day I'm having so I won't count chickens yet.

Mind if I bring Mike (assuming he wants to come)?

Yeah, bring Mike.

Uh we haven't organised a time, give me a phone tomorrow, contact details are in my memories.
